D365 BC – Technical Consultant

Job Description

  • Develop, customize and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL language.
  • Design and build extensions, integrations, reports and custom functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party applications using REST and SOAP services.
  • Create and customize reports using RDLC and Word layouts.
  • Develop and enhance pages, tables, codeunits and other Business Central objects.
  • Participate in data migration, upgrade and implementation projects including NAV to Business Central upgrades.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Follow development best practices, coding standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Support solution deployment, testing, and post-go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for implementing and customizing the D365 Business Central system.
  • Work closely with project managers, functional consultants and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

Candidate Profile

  • Hands-on experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end Business Central implementations or upgrade projects.
  • Experience working with international clients is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in AL development and Business Central customization.
  • Knowledge of third-party add-ons and integrations within the Business Central ecosystem.
  • Microsoft Certification MB-820 is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn emerging technologies and platform enhancements.
  • Ability to collaborate across different time zones.
  • Strong technical mindset with a good understanding of business processes.
  • Ready to travel client site as and when required.
  • Readiness for service commitment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
